Dear Mr. Singh,
Pipe conveyors are widely used for transportation of powdery material like Flyash, Cement, etc. as per current practice. The advantage / disadvantage of pipe conveyor with respect to pneumatic conveying, is a separate issue, and user can think about the same.

I would like to know is there any installation of pipe conveyor in power plant for ash transportation to dump yard.

Yes there are many installations of pipe conveyors transporting ash to dump yards or disposal. We have such installations in the UK and in the Czech Republic.

We have reference in Czech Rep (Pocerady Power plant) 1800 meter long diameter 300mm which has carried 14million tonnes of conditioned ash.
We have reference in UK (power plant)1100m long diameter 400mm carrying conditioned fly ash.
We have reference in Slovakia (power plant) 150m long diameter 200mm carrying completely dry fly ash.

Dear Sir
pipe conveyor can successfully be used for Dry Ash Transportation for power plants from ash silo to dump pond.
Unfortunately most of ash handling plant suppliers are not dealing with belt conveyors .in my opinion pipe conveyor can replace dense phase system as power consumption will be much less and dry transportation will be feasible
In case of pipe conveyor cost will be much less than other conventional pumping or dense phase system and there will be no restriction of length of transportation
More over wet slurry dumping causes underground water pollution same is not applicable for dry ash dumping
This needs lot of discussions as this will be a new area for pipe conveyors
