K-Tron Announces New Sales Director for EMEA-Asia Region
Niederlenz (Switzerland), June 18, 2009 – The K-Tron Process Group is pleased to announce that Mr. Richard J. Poole has assumed responsibility for all sales activities in the entire EMEA-Asia region.
Mr. Richard J. Poole has over 20 years of experience with the K-Tron Group as a specialist in material handling equipment and systems for a wide variety of industrial markets. He has an Engineering Degree from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne.
Mr. Poole gained substantial experience in Marketing at K-Tron America Inc. in the United States and as Sales Manager at K-Tron (Switzerland) Ltd. and K-Tron Deutschland GmbH in Germany for many years.
In his function as Sales Director EMEA/Asia Richard Poole is also a member of the management team of K-Tron (Switzerland) Ltd. In addition he is Managing Director of the subsidiary K-Tron Deutschland GmbH in Gelnhausen, Germany.
With this change, the Sales Managers in the K-Tron offices in Shanghai, China, and Singapore will now report directly to Mr. Poole. This change reflects the increasing importance and potential growth K-Tron believes exist for the Chinese market.
