Calculating Vibrating Screen RPM - BASIC's

FOMULA for CHECKING RPM's AND SHEAVES

ON YOUR VIBRATING SCREENS

*Intended for new guys coming into the industry*

1800 (rpm) x 9.0" (motor sheave dia) divide by 20 (screen sheave dia in inches) = 810 RPM

1800 X 9.O

= 810 RPM

20

RPM is very important and we can figure it out without the acutal TACHOMETER. (If may be different is sheaves are worn, which would make it a slower RPM)

OR

.............................................................................................

1740 rpm x 9.6 motor DIVIDE BY

= 835 RPM

20 (Motor Sheave dia)

................................................................................................

OR................WORK the known numbers BACKWARDS:

IE: Screen speed 783 rpm x 20

= 1740 RPM (motor speed)

9 (Motor Sheave)

GOOD ONE TO PRINT for later use.......
