I have a chamber that I am trying to use to measure the unknown volume of an object. I need the chamber to stay at a relativly low pressure 1~2psi above atm. I am looking for ideas from many angles.

1. object volume varies

2. can not get wet

3. high pressure will cause damage

You put a manometer on the empty chamber & place the chamber in cold water. Place the chamber in hot water & record the manometer level. Now repeat with the object in place. Do some P V calculations & there it is. No charge.

I scratched my head over this one, then put it on the "too hard" pile.
