It is nice step towards the handle with bulk of waste simultaneously. As well as there much business opportunities in waste recycle arena. ■

Handling of Waste & Recycled Materials
Bulk Handling in the Waste, Recycling and Biomass Industries
14 June 2012
1 Day Seminar
Institution of Mechanical Engineers, London
The Wolfson Centre for Bulk Solids Handling Technology are proud to co-sponsor the IMechE Seminar on Bulk Handling in the Waste, Recycling and Biomass Industries. The waste processing and recycling industries are a major growth area around the world. However there are special challenges involved due to the nature of the materials; variable, poorly flowing, low density, and the tendency to self-heat, amongst others. To highlight these challenges, Professor Mike Bradley, Director of the Centre, will be presenting “Getting it moving”: Flow problems and solutions for waste and biomass materials.
This presentation will cover:
•Why are some of these materials so problematic? The basics of their flow behaviour
•Characterising their flow properties ;
•Choosing equipment to suit the materials in hand
•Troubleshooting flow problems ;
•Dealing with variability
Register for this Seminar and keep up to date with the latest opportunities in the waste, recycling and biomass industries
•Meet Mike and his colleagues from the Wolfson Centre at our stand;
•Discuss your solids handling issues with our experts;
•Pick up our brochure or a copy of the latest Biomass Best Practice Guide;
•Sign up to join one of the short courses in bulk handling technology or in biomass handling.
Engineers , Procurement Executives or Maintenance Personnel and Designers associated with waste industries and the solids handling sector would benefit from attending this seminar. We look forward to meeting you there.
