R&D MICRONIZATION SYSTEM

High on the list of recent launches is Tecnologia Meccanica’s new R&D Micronization System.

It is modular, the same console can dock a J-20 or a J-25 or a J-30 milling chamber

Batch size from 200mg to 100g in basic standard configuration

The Milligram kit and the Magnum kit give equipment extension respectively to 50 milligrams batch and to 400 grams depending by product apparent specific weight

Verification of possibility to micronize the molecule at an early stage

Tested product yield higher than 90%

Bottom or top discharge, horizontal or vertical alignment and super vacuum technology

Today the J-20 Fluid Jet Mill System is the sole modular micronization equipment present on the market, with about 100 different configurations available that cover all the development stages: early r&d, development phase and pilot phase too.

The feeder is our new DS10 micro feeder, this micro twin screw unit can feed consistently starting from feed rate of 10 g/h

Batch size between 50mg and 200mg with the same PSD performance of bigger units and tested product yield higher than 75%

Pilot capability with the magnum configuration, 400g marketing size batch

And last but not least, it is over the top in psd performance worldwide with its d99<3 micrometers capability, tested with many inhalation’s products

The modular fluid jet mill can be also equipped with the Process Gas Conditioning System (PGCS)

PGCS is a novel technology able to charge humidity, moisture or solvent in the process gas carrier

The reduction of amorphous content and also the PSD can be controlled by the PGCS device

The charged solvent is metered and sharply controlled inside the process gas

PGCS has many possibilities, so there are many areas where its use may well be found to be critical
