On Wednesday, May 20th at 2:00 pm EST Hosokawa Micron Powder Systems will host a webinar on the basic principles of size reduction. The presentation will be given by Rob Voorhees, Vice President and General Manager of Hosokawa Micron Powder Systems. It will cover some of the most common and widely used technologies for coarse to medium size reduction.
This webinar is recommended for anyone in the chemicals, minerals, pharmaceutical or food processing industries. The live presentation will be hosted at 2:00 pm EDT on Wednesday, May 20th. Viewers will be able to interact with the presenter, during the questions and discussion segment. The presentation is free and is estimated to be about 45 minutes. Computer speakers will be required for this presentation. A recorded version of this presentation will be available in Hosokawa's Educational Center with in 24 hours of the live broadcast.
Rob Voorhees has been the Vice President and General Manager of Hosokawa Micron Powder Systems since 1998 and has worked in the processing industry his entire career. Rob (see photo below) started his career with MikroPul Corporation, an air pollution control and environmental company that was acquired by Hosokawa in 1985. He later worked for several years as Regional Sales Manager for Research-Cottrell Corp. In 1994 he rejoined the Hosokawa Micron Group. Rob held various sales and management positions until becoming General Manager in 1998.
