TECNOLOGIA MECCANICA’S EASY MICRONIZATION

Every technician involved in the micronization sector knows that the micronization process in pharmaceutical industries is critical, expensive and definitely complicated. Even if a technician tries to find a solution into the milestones of the enormous literature about size reduction there is no sound theory comparable to those existing for the other industrial processes and consequently this leads to face the problem empirically and by years of experience.

Now that the modern global economy transfers the pharmaceutical processes from one side of the Earth to the other at the warp speed, technicians need to implement new and old processes basing the fast result on technical literature without the comfort of years of experience, finding themselves practically unarmed in front of the micronization process.

So the mix between micronization process and globalization is always really an hard matter.

Tecnologia Meccanica, thanks to its wide experience in micronization field applied effectively in the new developed countries, has addressed these troubles by developing a new family of fluid jet mills with enhanced characteristics on the process side:

•really easy to run and inexpensive

•able to process products with high solvent content (around 3000 ppm)

•able to process sticky powders which do not flow

Today, between the wide number of models, we want to show once again our new J-150 equipment in plant execution which is gaining lot of interests between our customers due to its characteristics which enable a very easy micronization at a cost extremely reduced.

Technical Data

•Process gas at 7 bar = 0.73 m3/min

•Process gas at 12 bar = 1.25 m3/min

•Estimated working capacity = from 0.50 to 30.00 kg/hour

•Particle size distribution D99<3 micrometer

The jet mills by TECNOLOGIA MECCANICA are based on a sound original statistical matrix model implemented on computer software which allows us in facing the micronization process with method and in an exhaustive way.
