LAIDIG SYSTEMS, INC. hosts 250 for Open House At Its Manufacturing Plant in Mishawaka, IN

Approximately 250 people toured the manufacturing facilities of Laidig Systems Inc. at 14535 Dragoon Trail in Mishawaka, IN, USA during a three-day open house May 4-6, 2009.

The focus of the open house was a new blast cleaning and powder-coat painting system for very large steel components. As one of the largest such systems in the United States, it is designed for components up to 80 feet in length.

A special dedication ceremony took place at the plant Monday, May 4. During the ceremony, the company's founder, Jon Laidig (se picture below), presented the company with a painting depicting four generations of the Laidig family -- Jon; Jon's son, Wyn, who now is company president; Wyn's son Daniel, who joined the company three years ago and works as an engineer; and Daniel's young son, Gabriel.

"The portrait illustrates the continuity of the company and our dedication to remain in business strongly well into the future," said Senior Vice President Roger Laidig.

Laidig Systems Inc. is a manufacturer of bulk storage and reclaim systems for dry bulk materials such as grain and feed.
