Dear all

For the attached layout,(top loose hole, bottom having internal threads) while tightening certain known torque how much force will be created?

M10 x 1.5 thread length of thread 30mm

Torque 19.63 Nm

anybody approx. tell me how much force created axially while tightening the bolts?

Also standards available for this calculation?

For a given thread size axial load is a function of torque and coefficient of friction.

Refer to your text books on Engineering Mechanics under inclined plane friction.
