I finally manage to post my reply to thank you for sending me your paper. It is useful, nicely written and reports hard-to-find information on seminal research work from the '70s (we are all standing on the shoulders of giants). I guess I will use it for lecturing, however for that purpose it would be useful to have some sample values for K (e.g. the author refers to some data bank...which ones?) and some reference on how to select R values, due to academic shortage of real experimental values . ■
