AN APPLICATION INVOLVES A SINGLE STRAND TWO AXES CHAIN CONVEYOR WITH RUBBER SLATS MOVING AT 30 M/min. THE CONVEYOR MOVES CARTONS AND UNLOADS ONTO A CURVED GRAVITY ROLLER CONVEYOR. THE CONVEYOR WIDTH IS 1 M AND LENGTH 45 M.

SOLICIT TIPS ON NOISE REDUCTION AND MECHANISM FOR SMOOTH TRANSFER OF CARTONS OF VARIOUS SIZES ONTO THE ROLLER CONVEYOR.

THE CHAIN IS DESIGNED FOR BREAKING STRENGTH OF 25000 KG. ■

Dear Mr. Iyer,

Whether you are referring to the noise of the rollers or the noise of the chain conveyor? What is the degree of objectionability to noise magnitude i.e. the limit of the distance it should be audible?
