You are supplier for spares for replacement items, in cement plants, mining, etc. The original liners material, type etc. must have been decided by OEM (original equipment manufacturer) after detailed study and long time experience, considering all complexities of the application. Therefore, in general, it would be advisable to keep the same type and quality of the liners for replacement.

Various types of liners are available in market. You should contact the manufacturers of such liners for technical and price data. You will get quotation of different brand names but having nearly similar characteristics for particular application. This will need techno-commercial evaluation in choosing the equivalent liner, which will need certain degree of technical knowledge. The liners should have necessary impact strength, abrasion resistance, flow angle, certain life and so on.

As for the various types of liners, the prominent categories are:

- Steel liners (MS i.e. common steel, carbon steel, alloy steel, manganese steel, stainless steel, cast steel, and so on). Often, this will also have specific heat treatment etc.

- Rubber liners

- UHMW (ultra high molecular weight) polymer liners

- Polyurathene liners

- Bassalt liners

- Wood liners etc.
