Biography:
MEng (1964) and PhD (1975) at Academy of Mining & Metallurgy in Cracow, Poland.
Dr Golosinski has served in senior engineering and managerial positions in mines located in North America, Europe and South America. Between others, Tad worked as Principal Mining Engineer for Fluor Daniels and as General Superintendent, Mine Engineering at Exxons El Cerrejon mine. He has also held appointments as Professor of Mining in Canada (1980-88) and in Australia (1992-97). In 1998 he was appointed to his present position of Professor of Mining Engineering at the University of Missouri-Rolla.
Dr. Golosinskis main interests relate to surface mining in general and to design, applications and performance optimization of mining systems in general.
