VEGA is now introducing the microwave barrier VEGAMIP R62, a non-contact sensor that can detect the limit level of solids and liquids in poorly accessible locations with great reliability and precision.

Since the microwave barrier VEGAMIP is specifically geared to the demands and needs of the bulk solids industry, it can detect the limit level reliably under adverse environmental conditions such as strong dust generation, fog or high temperatures. It consists of a VEGAMIP T61 transmitter and a receiver. The receiver measures the attenuation of the received microwave signal and generates a switching signal from it.
For applications in hard-to-reach or dangerous areas there is now the receiving unit VEGAMIP R62 with remote control. One big advantage it offers users is that the control unit can be placed in an easily accessible and safe place.
The control unit of VEGAMIP R62 is compatible with VEGA's plics® concept and offers all the advantages of that modular system. Housings of plastic, aluminium and stainless steel are available for the user to choose from. He can set up the control unit in any available small space, even outdoors, without having to install a switching cabinet or additional protective housing.
