Pneumatic Conveying Blower Needed

Hello all!

I need a blower for an existing Pneumatic Conveying System, my costumer need to replace the old blower. So, i think i only need a new blower.

Attached I send a diagram of pneumatic system, like to have a carrying capacity of approximately 35 tons/hour, this is possible? Who can help me?

Dear Hlio,

If the old blower of an existing pneumatic conveying system needs to be replaced, why not purchase the same type of blower?

Then you also know the capacity of the system, because it has run for a long time satisfactorily.

Or, have you changed the material to be conveyed and are asking now for a new size blower, required to reach the wanted capacity on the given pipeline?

Then it is necessary to know the particle size of the broken corn (maize)

I want a new blower, i dont know the real capacity of the system... now i have a old blower, doing a great noise and too slow ...

i need be sure about the capacity of the system, and know the maximum capacity of this system.

If the existing pipes are too small, i need know what i need change to have a carrying capacity of approximately 35 tons/hour.

Dear Hlio,

At least, the particle size of the broken corn is required.

Is it broken to small particles (1 to 5 mm) or is it broken to meal (<1 mm)?

To estimate the size of the old blower, you can measure the dimensions according the attached file and figure out the rpm. (motor rpm * sheave ratio)

Then a calculation estimate can be done.
