You had best go to an existing installation, take a sample and measure it.
2. The water flow requirement for Handling the ash for 15 TPH.
When you've answered (1) you'll be halfway to answering (2)
the ash does not sink in water completely & float. So removing the ash completely from the trough is problem.
You need a surface skimming chain conveyor to push the floaters to where the belt comes out of the water. ■

Submerge Belt Conveyor
Dear All,
We are deisgning the Submerge belt conveyor for 15 TPH. The consultant of the project have asked for the following points for Submerge Belt Conveyor.
1. The percentage of water in ash when it is discharged from the Conveyor.
2. The water flow requirement for Handling the ash for 15 TPH.
There is one more problem we normally face in submerge belt is that the ash does not sink in water completely & float. So removing the ash completely from the trough is problem.
Can you all put your valuable view on the same.
Regards
Shrinivas Bartakke. ■
