Medium Size Screening

I know about screens with only mesh or panels vibrating. They are very efficient, self cleaning and low energy consuming. Rhewum, Mogensen or Binder are great names in this category. Binder screen cuts even at 4" / 100mm, but judging on panel thickness I guess it's good for light stuff only.

Now, who can supply a screen alike described above working with a rocky & sticky crushed in feed sized from 0 up to 8-10" / 200 - 250mm. It has to be screened with cut sizes from 1/2" up to 5" / 12 - 120mm. I do not believe a PU thin panel like Binder's would sustain 10 lb sharp edged rocks on.

Is it possible to make a direct panel excitated screener capable to do such a job?

Multiple Cuts On A Single Machine

Binder, for starters is an excellent machine. Unique dual action vibrating theory and works beautifully in its niche marketplace.

Binder actually truly excels when given finer "hard to screen" applications which at this point, makes it a valid pic vs standard circle throw inclined screens.

The openings can be coarse down to fine screening on the BINDER....or BIVITEC as it is called in the USA north american market.

''''''''''''''''''''''''

Many other brand name vibrating manufacturers of circle throw inclined screens will also easily do the job you described, without problem. BUT the key.......

...................

IF WE make the cut on the TOP DECK TOO BIG and the finest cut on say the THIRD DECK say......4mm........now we can have a theoretical and real life problem....we need a BIG ENOUGH STROKE to clear the TOP DECK OPENING...say 4" but, we need a smaller stroke to clear the bottom deck opening.....so if we try to screen too big of a RANGE of openings on the same screen......something has to suffer with IN-EFFICIENCY...

................................

this is why we have PRIMARY SCREENS, SECONDARY application screeners and tertiary application screeners.....with separate SPEED STROKE SLOPE designs to accomodate each properly.

Hello Kris99,

Your screening application is for size ranging from 12 mm to 120 mm, of rock. The rock may have somewhat higher density. The 120 mm rock falling with certain velocity can damage the wire panel of the screen. So, one practice is to have double deck screen. The upper deck is made from plate with circular holes which will have a screen out size of minus 40 mm and the oversize will get rejected at the end. The material of size less than 40 mm goes to the second deck where wire panels will do better screening. Thus, the upper deck is strong and takes care of the impact etc. The indicated numerical values are only for explanation and not to be construed as recommended values for your application. The values will depend upon the sieve analysis of the material etc.

Please refer to screen manufacturers for their recommendation.

This series of product is vibrated by the circling motion, and the amplitudes strength can be adjusted . It has a long screening produce line and has several layers. Each kind of size is sieving separately. It has high screening efficiency, and suitable the screening task of mining and sandstones industry.
