Stockpile Distance from Power Block Area

Dear Sir(s),

I want some information from your goodselves about the location of Stock Pile.

How far (Min) the stockpile can be located from Power House Building considering environmental & Safety aspacts?

Is there any other criteria for the consideration the same somewhat far than Power House Building?

Can we assume it 200 to 300M from Power House Building.

You are requested to advice me for the same.

Distances apart are the same as for any other plant. No assumptions: just straightforward plant layout considerations.

Stock is usually fed to bunkers & thence to the boilers. Coal is continually consumed & ash is continually accumulated. Ash is the worrisome item. ■
