I have attached data from Cement Engineer's handbook (Otto Labahn) 1983 edition. I have used data for meeting new norms in old installations in Limestone, iron ore and plants like cement and iron ore pellet plants

One guide I have gives
0.5 m3/sec per metre width of belt for speeds < 1m/s
0.7 m3/sec per metre width of belt for speeds > 1m/s
for general materials, double this for dry very dusty materials
Also all opens should have an indraft of 0.75 - 1 m/s ■
