To give a general idea about the range of the cost, conveyor cost can be estimated as 1000 EUR per meter, including the standard carrrier frames, but excluding civil works, transfer towers and galleries, since these will change much according to project and site requirements.

What about the civil, structural and installation costs, et al.?

Construction can amount to 50% or more of the total costs including: engineering, overhead, utilities, site housing and their infrastructure costs, mobilization and demobilization, site preps, insurance, contingencies, bonding, et al.

I think you are not including total project cost to client. Do you disagree? If so give the inclusions far beyond your short list. ■

Added note,

While the Chinese can build good belts and attractive pricing, the belt, at best, is only 25% of the total project costs. Given they may have a 20% market advantage, this would amount to a 5% overall project benefit. Do note the raw material and plant write-off costs have no significant advantage in China.

So I fail to see the area of great gain. ■
