EUROMIX 3000 CC

The new flagship amongst mobile mixing plant from SBM Mineral Processing

Since 1998 SBM has been building the tried and tested mixing plant of the Euromix series. Several million tons of concrete and references from all over the world bear testimony to the reliability of this highly mobile mixing equipment. The successful product range – starting with the mobile containerised EUROMIX 1000 with a capacity of 60 cubic metres/hour, through the classic EUROMIX 2000 with 100 cubic metres/hour up to the EUROMIX 3000 with130 cubic metres/hour – has been extended with the introduction of the EUROMIX 3000 CC with a capacity of 200 cubic metres/hour.

A multitude of innovations makes these machines the best-equipped mixing plant in the world. With SBM, meeting the requirements of the EN 206 norm can be taken for granted. This wheeled version with such compact dimensions makes these machines suitable for transporting by road as a semi-trailer.

Typical features for mobile mixing plants from SBM

Completely galvanised steel construction, using high-quality components durable equipment with a long life

Transporting width – 3.0 metres, chassis and undercarriages with StVO official certification, wheeled bunker and weighing units, wheeled mixing unit (including ISO wall panelling) for ease of transportation, mobile silos, including worm and access ladder as one transport unit cost-efficient transport of all components

No solid base preparation necessary cost savings

Box walls and six-point support outriggers included minimal set-up time

BHS Mixing plant, type DKXC 3,0 high performance

Ready-to-go electrics with plug in connectors easy operation

Discharge and retaining wall can be installed on either side variable set-up

Possible set-up of the bunker unit with angles up to 90° flexibility

Compact construction but still easy to maintain

Enormous savings in time and money

For set-up on site the following rule applies: ‘Wherever a lorry can go, this equipment can be set up.’ The ability to set up the equipment without a solid base and in 480 minutes makes this plant cost-effective for sites requiring 3000 m3 of concrete and over.

Our engineer, A. Beißkammer, as chief engineer responsible for plant development, summarised it perfectly: ‘Its high level of mobility makes it operational in the shortest time, giving enormous cost-savings. With Euromix, expenditure for transport, site preparation, set-up and break-down comes to just a fraction of the costs involved with so-called semi-mobile plant.’

With SBM, the development of new plant always takes place after consultation with our customers. The company Austromobil, as one of Europe’s largest mobile concrete producers, has made a decisive contribution with its practical experience and developed the specification profile with SBM. (Pic 04 Austromobil 3000 CC).

‘We constructed the new machine under considerable time constraints but were still able to achieve all of our characteristic features,’ Herr Reiter, Construction Manager for SBM Mixing Plant added. ‘We found ideal partners in BHS Sonthofen, as manufacturer of the mixing equipment, and Pahm supplying control and monitoring technology.’

The BHS twin shaft mixer, type DKXC 3,0 possesses mixing features to offer continuous and batch operation, is equipped with a hydraulically operated evacuation flap, as well as a progressively adjustable control valve. The company Pahm developed the software for free movement between a regulated continuous production and controlled batch production.

Euromix 3000 CC fulfils all the requirements on large-scale construction sites

In developing the Euromix 3000 CC, in practice two machines had to be packed into on piece of equipment. The first requirement was the production of mass quantities of concrete in a gradually adjustable output process ranging from 120 to 200 metres3/hour in continuous operation. The second requirement was the production of all kinds of concrete conforming to EN 206 in batch operation with a capacity up to 130 metres3/hour. Furthermore, there had to be free interchange between continuous and batch processes.

Previously, a continuous process plant supplied concrete in mass and a batch plant subsequently supplied construction quality concrete. With the Euromix 3000 CC both tasks can now be carried out in parallel operation. This means there is a far better level of plant utilization and enormous savings on fixed costs.

Of course, the pre-condition was that the controls and plant components met EN 206 requirements and also accorded with the strict quality regulations of the Austrian construction industry. This technology, in combination with the recognised EUROMIX quality, was the solid basis for the construction of the Euromix 3000 CC.

This innovation in concrete production, unique in global terms, is further proof of the competence of SMB Mineral Processing in the field of mobile mixing plant.
