We are assisting one of our customers in Norcross, GA (USA), in their search for a Bulk Materials Handling Engineer. They have 2 Senior and 3 Intermediate openings. The Sr. positions are Direct and the intermediate positions are contract-to-direct.

Criteria are:

Seeking Senior Mechanical Designers with 15 years experience in the design of bulk materials handling equipment such as conveyors (drag chain, conventional belt, airslides, screws, bucket ladders, pneumatics, air suspended conveyors etc) and equipment such as railcar, ship and truck unloading and loading equipment; stacking and reclaim equipment (stackers, portal reclaimers and back stacking reclaimers, pile dischargers, stacking tubes etc) at tonnage rates from 100tph through 5,000tph and higher. Current experience in AutoCAD and a basic knowledge of MS Office applications is required.

The Sr. Designer will be capable of producing conceptual designs based on owner’s specifications as well as Customer standards and must be able to lead small groups in developing concepts for both proposals and awarded projects. The successful candidate will be called upon to interact with engineers and also supervise other designers and drafters. The Sr. Designer shall possess excellent organizational and communications skills.
