The mechanical stroke Variator is a simple unit that when it is connected to a motor that can have adjustable speed can generate harmonic oscillation. Through a lever the amplitude can be adjusted while the unit is running and without having to use tools.

The picture at the right side shows a Variator type A1. The Variator is as standard available in 3 different sizes but special designs can be delivered too. The shaft is passing so that it is easy to connect multiple Variators.

Technical data:

Type A1 Type B1 Type C1

20 mm shaft 30 mm shaft 40 mm shaft

Stroke range, mm0-8 0-150-25

Frequency, Hz0-100 0-500-45

Maximum force, kN0-15 0-500-80

The mechanical stroke Variator has been used for testing various products that are exposed for vibration either under transportation or under the environment the product is installed in. It has also been used for testing expansion joints for fatigue failure.

The mechanical stroke Variator (Pat. Pend.) can be delivered as a independent component or as a part of a complete solution for running tests of your products.
