Wagon Unloading System Required

Posted in: , on 14. Sep. 2007 - 13:45

Dear Sir/Madam,

We are the number 1 producers of refractory bricks in India. Our raw material comes to us in small lumps of 0~50 mm size in railway rakes. Presently raw material is being unloaded through four nos. of gates of the rakes manually. This is quite a laborious and time consuming activity.

We are looking for a solution of unloading the rakes quickly and economically. Can you help us in giving a solution?

Regards

Dear Mr. Sahu,

Your words --quickly and economically may not match with the following mentioned system but the wagons will be unloaded quickly-

Bring the material in BOBRN wagons and unloded them in underground hopper.Reclaim the material either by Plough feeder or by vibro feeders installed in the pit and then convey the same to its destination by belt conveyor.By doing like this this you can evacute one racke with in 2-3 hours.

Greetings

We noted your question of Unloading Rail cars quickly. Would a Wagon Tippler better serve your needs. Cars are tipped, material moves through hoppers to reclaim conveyor, or crushers. If this is a possibilty, we can help.

We offer Surplus equipment and have available:

*(2) Car Tipplers

*Hoppers

*Feeders

*Crushers

*600tph Fixed luffing/slewing Stacker

**2500/1500tph Stacker-Reclaimer

One thought comes to mind regarding your situation;

Do you use railcar vibrators to loosen the material in the cars while the hopper doors are open? They are very easy to use and can be portable or in fixed foundation at the unloading point.

You have no choise. Present method of unloading wagons by opening side gates and using labour to shove material out is used even for larger rakes and tonnages in India. You can not justify use of tippler if only a rake is unloaded in a day. You have no choice of wagon type unless you own the rake.
