Invention: The Variator

We made the invention; the Variator (pat.pend), which is some kind of adjustable crankshaft mechanism. It allows you to adjust stroke/amplitude and frequency stepless while the application is running - and totally independent of each other.

Another advantage is it that once the value of stroke/amplitude has been set it remains constant no matter what the load on the connecting rod is.

The photo below shows the Variator is type A1 with the following data.

• Stroke/amplitude stepless ad justable between 0 - 8 mm

• Frequency stepless adjustable between 0 - 100 HZ

• Maximum permitted load on connecting rod : 15 kN
