How to Finance Emerging Technologies

Posted in: , on 1. May. 2007 - 04:42

Does anyone know a simpler solution of how to finance Emerging Technology? I have developed and applied for patent protection around the world for a OH&S Conveyor Idler Assembly (CIA) whereby the hazards associated with belt conveyors has been reduced to almost Zero, (I cannot take out the Human Element), and reduced manpower to a single person, downtime and costs associated with idler roll change out and maintenance to minutes. It is a retro-fitable product that is theoretically possible to change rolls out whilst the conveyor is running in a safer environment of the walkway.

We have trial-led the system for over a year without one issue, but have yet to trial the changeout under running conditions. The running condition trial should be undertaken in the next few months on a major coal mine in central Queensland, Australia.

What we desire is a means that will allow a speedup of the refinement and completion of all models in the retro-fitment range of assemblies and marketing.

Conveyor Technology

Posted on 18. May. 2007 - 12:01

Hi Les,

We are currently looking at conveyor technology at transfer points. We are about to contact MDs of mining companies to discuss various aspects of conveyor design problems.

Send us details and we will see what we could do as a next step.
