Centre of gravity is the point for circular motion, if you position it above the centre of gravity you will get circle in the middle of the side plate and elipses at the feed and discharge end.

Re: Location Of 2-Bearing Mechanism
Normally the centre of gravity sees the shaft positioned in the dead centre of the length of an inclined vibrating screenbox. This setup typically sees the box RUN with relatively perfect circles on each corner feed and discharge end of the screen and dead centre above the drive shaft in the middle of the screenbox.
Sometimes, some mfr's move the centre of gravity 12 inches closer to the feed end of the screen box to give the screener a bigger stroke at the feed end, typically on low angle screens (10-15 degrees) NORMAL SHOULD BE 20 degrees....this allows more action at the FEED POSITION where the load is largest and less circle stroke at the discharge end where the load is least.

Thank you very much for your answer ■

After my studies,
mechanism located at the center of gravity
circular screening motion
18 degree slope for improved material flow

Location of 2-bearing mechanism
Hello everybody
I am beginer this field. I am looking for information on where location of eccentric shaft on screen body? I hear this location not centroid, where slip direction material first fall down screen body.
Regards and thanks,
