Dear Dr. Wohlbier,

I have been following many of the articles and trade leads offered in your regular emails. However, we are looking for specifically a cement loader from trucks to ship with loading rate of at least 7,000 tons/day.

I tried the various web sites that you had sent in your last email but was not able to find the correct equipment and correct contacts.

Would you please guide me to the right person or company that can help us with this equipment?

Thanks and best regards,

Dear Milan, Please contact below mentioned company, they will help you out to supply the same in India.Since, you require cement loader from trucks to ship, this will be a custome made equipment, loading cement directly from Bulker/trucks to ship is not adviseable since, you are asking loading cap. about 300 tph,it is better to have some storage at the loading point otherwise you may have to go for good nos. of loaders. If you need we can design a system/layout to suit your requirement.

Dear Milan,

A ship, to be loaded with 7000 tons of cement per day must be in the size

of 40.000 to 50.000 dwt, to justify this capacity.

Assume 7200 tons per day of 20 working hrs.

Capacity 7200/20 = 360 tons/hr

A bulk truck can perform 60 tons/hr

Which results in :

6 bulktrucks discharging into the ship

6 bulktrucks loading

6 bulktrucks driving

The shiploading through 12 hoses (8 inch) with shut-off valves directly into the ship’s hold.

or optionally a loading transfer station.

Also a de-dusting and de-aeration unit for the ship’s hold

All depending on shipsize, travel distance, dock situation, expexted annual through put, etc.

For companies look in the various magazines dealing with cement handling or search the internet.

success
