Pressure regulator problem

now , another problem

it is about pressure regulator

as we know , pressure regulator is combined with nozzle to control air flow , but the problem is when materical has been conveying, the regulator pressure will decline(display in meter), for example, when not flow in pipeline, the pressure of regulator is about 3bar(abs) , when bulk solids is be conveying , especially when conveying has been fanished, the regulator pressure will dincline(display in meter) , sometimes it is so obviousl about the change, so how can I select the pressure value as inlet pressure of nozzle? using 3bar(abs) ? if i use the pressure of variable value, i think it is difficult to determine.

As air flows through pressure regulator, pressure drops untile the regulator valve adjust to a suitable position. But if the capacity of your regulator is surfficiant for the flow you need for sure the pressure can not reach to the set point.

Try globle type control valves. ■
