Who are the top five best company in the pneumatic conveying field?

hello, everyone!

I am an engineer from China. Glad to see this Forum.

In China, there are many pneumatic conveying system companies from USA or Europe. They all say their technology is the best in the world.

I want to ask the expert in the Forum: From your view, who are the top 5 best companies in the world? And what's your select criterion?

I know, maybe everyone will have different answers, but I hope to learn what you think.

Dear Jack,

Which USA or European companies claim that they are the best ?

like to hear that.

"Best" is entirely subjective. If you are handling a friable product, they are all marginal. In the carbon black field, if fines are a significant issue for you, be very careful as to which system you may select.

Dear Jack

Ther is no best in the industry as each company has its own strength or only concentrated in a particular industry / convey phase. You can only ask what is their most experienced industry served / material conveyed.

I can only tell you the strength of our company but not the others. If you are interested, please contact me at ayu@cyclonaire.com as I am stationing in Shanghai.

There is a Powder Show in Shanghai coming June. A good place to start to find your answers.

Sincerely

Alexander Yu

Dear Teus,

Almost all the companes claim they are the best, maybe it's just salesmen's advertisement . Such as clyde, zeppine, Buller, Fuler, Dynamic Air, Noltec, Clause Peter, Govoni, Neuplan, WAM, Macawber etc.

Are you familiar with these companies? Can you give some personal comments on them?

Best regartds,

Dear Tedkey,

I agree what you said.I know the carbon black is sticky and friable. It's difficult to convey. In China, the coneying system for the tire and rubble field is occupied by a local supplier-Qingdao Gaoxiao Co..(about 70% market). Many foreign suppliers can offer better technology, but their pricing is too high.

Dear Jack,

I quite agree that your question is hard to answer.Because it depend on material, distance, particle distribution and technology, and also your process requirements.

As to say material, such as gypsum and limestone, cause it's sticky and flow ability is bad,you should have to find a profesional and experienced pneumatic company to do this job.So called dense phase also depends on capacity and particle distribution and distance.

Also like silicone sand, you should solve abrasive and wear problem for pipe and valves, dense phase and low velocity technology should be a solution;but maybe the customer need a vacuum system to suit their requirements.

Maybe the customer need to handle hundreds tonnage and more than 500 Metres long distance, you should consider solution for pipe instruments etc.

So no best company or technoly,it depends on suitable solution and what you want to focus in.There only best solution as your requirements.

Please visit www.macawber.com for densepahse and low-velocity solution as you need.

Dear Jack,

Your question is an important question to every potential buyer.

But the answer to your question has to be found by yourself, as nobody wants to get involved

in such a judgment ( apart from the fact that you must know them all very well, in order to be able to compare)

A way to perform your investigation could be :

-select the companies for your field of application

-contact those companies and ask them for information and/or a quotation.

-from their way of responding and the quality of their information and/or quotation, you will get the first impression.

-Then ask for references with their contact names and inform them that you will approach those references to verify their experience.

-In case of projects, becoming reality, it is advisable, when you do not have the experience yourself, to employ an engineering office or consultant, you have experience with.

-Always be alert of:

oInconsistent replies

oAttempts to seal of external information

oVague answers

oQuick conclusions, which they try to force on you.

oAnswers, implying that you have to trust them, because they are the experts (and you are not)

oBad mouthing about a competitor is not a good sign (arguments are better)

oContact sub suppliers and ask them for their opinion.

Hope for the best

Teus
