Re: Cement Dedusting
Regarding the required air volume for aspirating a bucket elevator, you should ask the manufacturer of the elevator for his recommendations as these vary with the design and style of elevator. For the airslide you will know the required air consumption for these units to operate so just assume that all the air will need to be aspirated. Then add these two figures to get the total aspiration requirement in say, m3/hr.
Of course for the duty of the fan you will need to estimate the system resistance of ductwork, filters etc in say, mm water gauge. Using these two figures you will be able to select a suitable fan. ■
Cement Dedusting
Just about everything you need to know is contained in the handbok "Industrial Ventilation" published by The American Conference of Governmantal Industrial Hygienists, recommended exhaust quantities, design procedures etc.

Cement dedusting
Dear memebers
How can I determine the required quantity of dust to draw or dedusting (by baghouse) from some equipments such as bucket elevator or airslide in cement plant , I mean which specific data(with units) I have to find to make calculations to find dust quantity and through that I can determine the fit fan capacity(CFM) for my baghouse. where the bulk density of cement raw meal is 1100 Kg/m3, ■
