I don't believe that VSMA has a website. All of their books are available through AEM at the link below.

Good luck

That is right..........there is no VSMA website............VSMA actually disbanded as an association many years ago...........a group of about 7 high profile VIBRATING SCREEN MFRS......which set out general guidelines for manufacture and application of vibrating screens.

HANDBOOKS.........available at the website gary listed.

EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT MATERIAL........well worth the price which is not expensive.

THANKS...........GEORGE

Thank you very much for your help....

But there is one problem..I am a poor student from a poor country and I don´t think I could pay 25 dollars so easily.

Here is the situation.I am a chilean student on my 5fth year of mechanic engineering...and I have to design a vibrating screen banana type.I have to draw and calculate everything...but I don´t have much idea about how to start...so I would appreciate any info free available on the internet you could send me.

For example I would like to know where I can find the values that the vsma has for the following parameters on this formula:

Area (ft2)=flow/(C*M*K*Q1*Q2*Q3*Q4*Q5)

C=FACTOR RELATED WITH THE WIDTH OF THE HOLES ON THE SCREEN

M=FACTOR RELATED WITH THE % OF THE MATERIAL BIGGER THAN THE HOLES

K=FACTOR RELATED WITH THE % OF THE MATERIAL WICH HAS THE SIZE OF THE HOLES FROM THE FIRST SCREEN

Q1=FACTOR RELATED WITH VOLUMETRIC DENSITY

Q2=FACTOR RELATED WITH THE KIND OF OPENING

Q3=FACTOR RELATED WITH THE SHAPE OF THE PARTICLE

Q4=FACTOR RELATED WITH THE SIZE OF OPENING

Q5=FACTOR RELATED WITH THE SUPERFICIAL MOISTURE

Please please...if you have files or any thing with planes, charts , etc...send it all to calvondy@yahoo.com

Thanks

Ps:

I beg you excuse my english....i did my best

Thanks
