THE CLIENT EITHER CAN GO FOR MOBILE PACKING PLANT WHICH WILL BE PARKED NEAR TO SHIP AND AND THE LOADING WILL BE DONE SIMULTANEOUSLY,BUT THE BAGGING RATE HAS TO BE MATCHED WITH THE OUT PUT CAPACITY OF THE MOTHER SHIP WHICH IS VERY HGH GENERALLY OR HE CAN HAVE STORAGE SILOS/FLAT STORAGE WHICH IS CHEAPER THEN SILO ON THE PORT OR HE CAN GO FOR THE FLOATING BARGE SYSTEM.WE CAN SUGGEST A PARTY WHO IS WILLING TO LEND HIS BARGE FOR THE SAME PURPOSE FOR A LONGER PERIOD. THE LOA/BEAM OF THAT BARGE IS 90.0/20.0 M AND THE DEPTH IS 7.6 M.

The client is a major Stevedores and Terminal operator in Pakistan.
The country imports DAP fertiliser in the private sector, despite of its local production, on regular basis. Around a million tons of DAP is imported annually. In 2004, fertiliser imports stood at over 1.3 million metric tons out of which a million ton was DAP. 99.9% of the fertiliser imported is in bulk form and has to be bagged locally through Richard Simon bagging units along side the ships.
Subsequently client are very interested to purchase a floating bagging plant terminal/barge to perform this operation along with temporary withholding the bulk cargo to release the ocean going vessels.
Your valuable suggestion is awaited.
