The new packaging machine BEUMER stretch hood® S is an innovative development for the most industries for the optimum securing of stacked unit loads.
The single-format machine BEUMER stretch hood® S has been developed as an alternative to their multi-format machine BEUMER stretch hood® and can be specially used for the packaging of same stack dimensions with amaximum height of 240 cm. Further the optimized technology increases the throughput capacity and thereby improves the price/performance ratio.
The configuration of the BEUMER stretch hood® S is modular and can be tailored to the individual project requirements:
The corners of pallets with sharp-edged goods can be especially strengthened with film. Also pallets for high stacking storing can be made without the base stretch. For special securing of stacked unit loads for the transport sleeves of film can be placed at any height of the unit load.
The packaging film used for the BEUMER stretch hood® method can be adjusted to the requested coefficient of linear expansion and the biaxial stretch for all products and operating conditions and reaches from very thin films for gentle product handling to thick and very strong films with high contracting forces. The packaging films are completely recyclable.
When comparing the thermal shrink packaging vs. the stretch hood method, the BEUMER stretch hood offers considerable and decisive advantages:
– Valuable goods are better protected against soiling, moisture and stress during transport.
