Take-up Arrangement

Hi Guys,

Can someone help me with the take up travel in a 1km long conveyor. The travel comes to about 20m and this has to be given with a HGT Tower but removed inbetween. In that 20m the belt will tend to sag. We cant even use a steel cord belt. ■

Dear Mr. chopraamitm,

20 m seems about right for an EP - belt.

Please explain in more detail: "this has to be given with a HGT Tower but removed inbetween" and "In that 20m the belt will tend to sag". If you give more background about conveyor configuration, bulk material properties, belt spec, drive config etc., you'll get probably a more detailed answer from the high level specialists.
