Re: Fl Smidth Bridge Scraper Bearings
Yes: I had to fit them on a limestone reclaimer (bridge scraper) in Scotland. You might have to draw up an adaptor to make them fit. I had to & it was well worth the little bit of effort. Good luck.■
Flsmidth Bridge Scraper Bearings
FLSmidth MVT is the origin supplier of the equipment. They are usually able to quote for all parts as originally installed.
Here’s a link to the FLSmidth MVT website: http://www.flsmidthminerals.com/Comp...h+KOCH-MVT.htm
There is a “Parts Request Form” available on their website: http://www.flsmidthminerals.com/Part...ts+Request.htm ■
Bearings Etc.
These mount directly to the scraper blades and run in a track both on the top and the bottom. There are 88 blades on this conveyor with 4 rollers per blade.
Any help on this would be great. Please contact me if you have any questions.
Thanks.

Since you have basically told us zero information other than the bearing duty and method of use.
We need more information from you regarding the bearings:
Do you have any new unused bearings to post on the forum with this thread?
1. bearing type
Does it have oil or grease lubrication in the bearing housing
a. bronze babbit, roller
b., tapered roller
c. roller cup and cone withor without preloading upon assembly
c. ball bearing- single or double roll
d. barrel roller bearings double or single roll
e. tapered barrel roller double roll
f. split roller bearings with mating housings
Do you know what type of bearings they are? if you can post pictures I can help you if you would like.
All roller bearings are metric in size. press fit bearing in dozer tracks are pressure fit with pins and bushings- if the bearings are bad the chain drag needs to be pulled and new bearings pressed in.
It would be worth your while to contact the distributor about a complete replacement assembly for the scraper as every inch of it will need to be examined and possibly have every bearing replaced.
Are these track bearings oilable with button fittings? That is another issue.
If you want help from me or the others on the forum
we all need basic information about your bearing other
than who built the machine, its use and how many of them you need.
As the bearings are working in a very dirty environment they are most likely track roller bearings such as those used on small tracked earth movers or in steel mills.
And unless you can provide one for me to look at its a lost cause.
If thre bearings are Emerson or Mcgill they are made in my hometown of Ithaca, new york
