Import as an IGES file. ANSYS will save this direct on the hard disc, not in any sub-directory. Select an 8 node element & mesh normally. Then you fix the trunnions & apply pressure to the flights. Nothing to it. ■

IAM DOING PROJECT WORK ON SCREW CONVEYOR,I HAVE MODELLED THE ENTIRE SCREW CONVEYOR IN PRO/E AND KNOW I NEED TO PERFORM THE ANALYSIS WORK IN ANSYS,SO I NEED THE ANSYS 10.0 BOOK FOR REFERENCE .
