Roll Crusher or Hammer Mill?? Which crusher can be utilised to obtain quartz grits?
Hello,
I would like to know the exact machinery to be used in order to crush quartz lumps to obtain quartz grits.
MATERIAL: White Quartz Lumps
HARDNESS: 7 Mohs
FEED SIZE: 10 mm- 50 mm
(This is obtained by crushing Quartz Lumps in a Jaw Crusher)
REQUIRED OUTPUT SIZE:
Small : 0.10 – 0.30 mm
Intermediary : 0.30 – 0.70 mm
Big : 0.70 – 1.20 mm
Bigger : 1.20 – 2.50 mm
: 2.50 – 4.00 mm
SHAPE : spherical, granular.
In the case of separate sieve fractions, at least 96% of the grains must have the grain size within the nominal size and they must be dust – free.
Also, kinldy let me know how best can the above mentioned sizes be classified?
Thanking you in anticipation of your guidance.
