Powder Mills
Hi JLG84,
Cheshire is just next to that cat in the tree. I'm suprised you aren't swamped with sales offers from the EU. Perhaps a posting on bulk-online is not the most effective way of calling for budget quotes from Vendors. Looks like few salesmen read this stuff.

Re: Milling & Classifying
You will likely need an air classifier mill system. We manufacture milling systems (pulverizers) specifically for this application. Our Team has a combined 50+ years of experience in the powder industry. Please contact myself or Head Office in Canada if you still need support. Thank you. ■
Milling & Classifying
Hi all,
I'm looking at mill/classifyer to reduce compacted powder size. At the moment our powder (D50: 5µm) is compacted in house to increase bulk density and milled and classified outside. We want to bring this part of our process in house as well. From our compacted powder we need to obtain a powder of D50=25µm with nothing above 90µm and nothing below 10µm. We want to be able to process between 30-50kg/hr.
We're not sure yet if we're going to buy new or second hand equipment, but I would like some recommendation to what equipment would be more appropriate. So far I have been advised to go for a pin mill and an air classifier.
Do not hesitate to pm me if you need more information.
Thanks ■
