am currently looking for new material for my blow bar. I am using horizontal impact crusher with maximum capacity of 70 t/h. The feed size is ~250 mm and the product size is ~40 mm and its processing nickel oxidized ore. Currently the blow bar is a high chrome white irons. It is often broke, I thought maybe its too brittle. I thought about using materials like high manganese steel, titanium alloys, or high boron white irons. Do any of you has experience in doing this material selection before? Could you give me the best selection of blow bar materials?

No Learning Here.
the bad thing about 3-4 of the answers given herein. SUPPLIERS of blow bars who want to supply stuff but, no one else in this FORUM is learning anything as, is the PURPOSE of this FORUM.....when you ask the person asking the question to contact you directly, that is exactly what we do not want in this forum.
it would have be lovely if someone made a different material recommendation and shared it with the planet.
