Can any one comment on air vortex mills for crushing materials such as clinker?

The only commercialised air vortex, jet mills I have seen are for ultra fine grinding in the pharmaceticals industry.

I was wondering whether this stye of machine would be suitable / cost effective compared to traditional impact grinding? ■
