You can try to buy handbooks from the Vibrating Screen Manufacturers Association (VMSA). They are onthe web.
Your best bet will be the supplier of vibrating screens or screening media in your area.
Go to yahoo and find site for david Martin Menne. He is a consultant in the metallurgical industry. On his site there is some guidelines for screen sizing.

There is no books I know of that would deal with the design/mechanical part of screen design - books on screening deal mainly with process. You could go to companies that manufacture screens but I don't think that they would be interested in helping you out. Another option is to go to consultancies - big consultancies, big fees. Look for smaller consultancies that specialize in vibrating screens design( like myself) but there is very few of them. You can have a look at my webpage:

I will put some articles on vibrating screens design ( once I get the permission from the authors) but these articles are very often mathematical calculations on the isolation or methods of obtaing the stroke you need rather the practical tips - I am not saying that they are not good, quite opposite.
