Dear Sirs:

We are glad to introduce ourselves as the leading manufacturer of precious metals-based pastes in China specializing in making conductive adhesives and pastes. Now we are looking for the suppliers of (advanced) equipments for making powders and pastes of precious metals.

Just so you know, our needed ultra-fine metal powders are raw materials used in the production of Microelectronic Passive components such as resistors, capacitors ,inductors and thin membrane switch produced by printing technologies of pastes made of metal powders. If your company would like to supply some detail characteristics or example of Ag, Ag/Pd powder made by your processes and equipment , I would be happy to discuss more with you.

would you please give me some informations about advanced processing technology and equipments, esp.fine and ultra fine screening(both wet and dry) for silver powder and flake?

Thank you very much and I look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes

Jet Milling

Consider the use of jet mills for dry grinding of silver and silver palladium powders. We have have been able to achieve d50 = .37 - 1.3 micron particle size for silver. We have been able to acheive d50 = 0.5 - 0.8 micron for silver palladium powder. See us on the web at <www.jetpul.com>.

TriboClassifierTM

The TriboClassifierTM developed and patented ( USA # 6,439,394 B1 and # 6,095,965 ) by “SorTech Separation Technologies LTD” uses a new technology for dry bulk powder process separation and classification.

TriboClassifierTM uses a rotating conical bowl and has a surface roughness and rotational speed calculated to best suit the particular classification requirement.

The TriboClassifierTM is fully enclosed with a small footprint, a very modest power requirement and can process powder at the rate of several kilograms to tons per hour.

SorTech has developed a novel classification process based on triboclassification. The Triboclassifier™ utilized the principal that, if a particle is moving over a surface whose roughness is comparable to the particle size, the apparent coefficient of friction depends on particle size.

The TriboClassifierTM is suitable now for bulk powder with mean particle sizes in the range of 10µm to 300µm.

The company’s experience, earned through extensive research and development on a variety of materials and with different separation objectives, shows that the Triboclassifer can provide solutions to many existing problems.
