Dear TuntVietNam,

Are you referring to dump trucks or bulktankers with their own compressor on board.?

A pneumatic cement conveying system of approx. 400 tons/hr with a horizontal length of 15 m and a vertical length of 65 m, will comprise a compressor of 60 m3/min at 2.5 bar and a 16” pipeline.

On top of the silo, a filter of approx 120 m2 and an over- underpressure valve has to be installed.

As a bulk tanker normally loads approx.30 tons of cement, the chosen unloading rate of approx. 400 tons/hr seems rather high.

best regards

Sorry,

I made an error in my previous post.

The pump capacity should be 120 m3/min instead of 60 m3/min

Dear TuntVietNam,

Can you describe your bulk cement pump in more detail as well as the problems

you are encountering.

Or, if you are referring to a new project, please describe the project more in detail.

Emptying a cement bulktruck cannot be that difficult, however if you want

to achieve 400 tons/hr in emptying a bulktruck, that is not an ordinary project.

Success

Dear Teus

Thank for your reply, it is very good for me. So can you tell me about the power of the motor for the pump.

Teus, do you know about the equipment that we call " pallet", it use to packing the cement bag in to a mass (with 20 bag a mass it mean that 1000 tons a mass and cover by PVC to protect from water). Please give me some information about it, the power of motor, weight, price...

Thankyou very much.

Dear TuntVietNam,

I am a little bit puzzled about your questions.

Is it possible to supply more information about the system, which you want to realize?

best regards

It is a very confusing process. I suspect there is an intermediate process vessel(s) involved. Blowing 9 powder tubs (road tanks) at any one time into a single silo involves a lot of safety issues.

When there is a mention of bagged consignmnets the thought of slitting 8000 bags per hour is daunting but not impossible.

Intermediate holding vessels would probably need siting below ground, for gravity filling, and probaly fill and subsequently feed the silo in sequence.

This situation seems to need a lot of conceptual work rather than just pump data charts.
