This material is quite abrasive. You could consider using a specially designed low velocity dense phase pneumatic conveying system or a mechanical conveyor depending upon economics, conveying distance, conveying route, etc. If you give more data and details, I could guide you further.

Conveying cryogenic perlite
Hi,
Just "discovered" this place and thought I'd ask for some guidance/information.
We are facing a project of emptying a cold-box filled whith cryogenic perlite (30-60 Kg/cu.m) and conveying it to 14cu.m bags for temporary storage.
I have some information about the use of large diafragm pumps and/or special venturi ijecting systems.
any relevant practical experience or information would be greatly appreciated.
