Interesting, one offer has more than twice the installed power than the other??? ■

With 2.9 X 0.3 m inlet it looks like screw discharger rather a conveyor. ■

Maybe, but the specification calls for a CONVEYOR not a FEEDER so perhaps the material rains down over the full length of the inlet.

But really an inadequate specification, and we see them all the time don't we. Fifty pages on paint specifications, thirty on motor specifications, twenty on required documentation oh, and four lines of machine specification omitting the material to be handled and the handling rate! ■

Mantoo suggested it looked more like a screw feeder, while the specification described it as a screw conveyor. As we all know a feeder will require more power than conveyor which might have explained the power difference.
