Alliance Partners Invited

Hi friends,

Have developed container liners to handle and store fluidised powders. The development of the liner is advanced and preliminary trials have shown positive sign of unloading of certain powders by using fluidisation. We have a Chinese manufacturer of the liner who has provided assistance and supplied some liners for testing.

Further development is required for the pneumatic conveying unloading system which needs to be flexible and reliable to connect with the liner to discharge its contents without generating dust. Design for the pneumatic conveying concept is advanced and require prospective clients who see the opportunity of cost reduction using this method of conveying and handling.

Require alliance partners to provide product for testing for further trials for the discharge of containers with the objective of mutual long term business relationship.

Container Liners To Handle And Store Fluidised Powders

Dear Joe, This practice is being used for various bulk materials but needs to be developed further. Requirement for such liners are going to rise manifolds specially in India where most of Industries are facing problems for transportation of bulk materials like-Alumina,Cement,Fly Ash,POP ect. In one case/study we recommended one of our clients transportation/Import of Alumina in Containers with similar type of liners in Handy size vessels. By adapting this mode of transportation we able to save 30% in logistic cost of imported alumina and 8% in wastage(during handling at berth and then unloading/loading at storage yard).Earlier the client was importing Alumina in Handy size bulk vessels and was paying cost for unloading of Alumina at berth in bulk form, transportation in bulk up to storage yard, unloading in storage yard, stacking ,reclaiming and again packing in Bulk bags and then loading in to trucks for further transportation. Now,the mode of transportation is simple Just unload container directly on trucks on berth and directly shift to end user and then finally unload pneumatically at user end in to their storage silos. We can even transport the containers through coastal shipping/IWT mode.
