Kistler-Morse Offers Improved SVS 2000™ with DeviceNet™ interface

Spartanburg, SC - Kistler-Morse announces the release of its improved SVS 2000™ with DeviceNet™, KM’s full-featured weight indicator for load cells which are ideal for bulk inventory monitoring and in-process applications.

DeviceNet™, administered by the Open DeviceNet™ Vendors Association, is an open industrial network for instruments and controllers, providing digital communications to devices such as the SVS 2000™. DeviceNet™ allows data transfers from up to 500 meters at a rate of 125kbps to 500kbps, and can facilitate up to 63 devices on the DeviceNet™ trunk cable.

DeviceNet™ integration allows users to transfer data from the instrument cleanly, simply, and directly. It provides a reliable, consistent, and cost-effective user interface.

Also, due to engineering optimizations, the SVS 2000™ now offers extra card capacity allowing the option of adding additional interfaces. With its superior design, the SVS 2000™ with DeviceNet™ operates more efficiently in high traffic environments, at a much lower cost, than competitive products.

The SVS 2000™ is a leader in the world of weight indicators. It features easy-to-follow instructions, state-of-the-art component technology and design, and an exclusive Sentry™ digital signal processing system that eliminates erroneous readings from shock and vibration.
