Once more, Politeno, the second major manufacturer of thermoplastic resins in Latin America, has shown its engagement with quality while aiming to attend customers always with excellent quality and perfect service: Recently an additional blender was added to the PEL (low density linear polyethylene) production line so that, at the same time, the blending and mixing capacity has been considerably increased and quality deviations between different fabrication batches, inherent to the production process, significantly reduced.
Following the same quality concept, numerous diverter valves have been supplied and installed. They permit to drain the water used to clean both, the existing blenders and the new one. The cleaning of the blenders guarantees that there is no contamination between different materials when production changes take place, since, obviously, all products have to go through the same blenders.
